How To Use Activity Sheets
With my love for… well, love, I obviously couldn’t help but create some fun activity sheets for my little preschooler! Here are a few tips and ways to use the worksheets.
Trace and Colour!
These free activity worksheets are the perfect boredom buster for your preschooler. Within the package comes three simple activities, where your little one is encouraged to trace, colour, and identify different shapes.
Discovering New Words
Let’s develop those fine motor skills! My favourite page in this worksheet bundle is the one with the word-tracing activity. They help kiddos discover new words and encourage letter identification.
Black and White Worksheets
I wanted to create something simple for printing. My Valentine Activity Sheets consist of three black and white pages, ready for printing in PDF format (on standard 8.5 x 11 paper). There’s no need to waste coloured ink for these activities! The colouring will come from your kiddos’ creativity and imagination!
Laminate Them For Future Use
If you want to give your child the option of using a dry-erase marker, then laminate the worksheets. Now they can trace, erase, and retrace the words over and over again.
Some children aren’t ready for markers yet, so do what feels right for your kids.
Use Cardstock
When you print the worksheets, I suggest using cardstock. This will make them sturdy enough for young and impulsive kids to use without them tearing.
Print At Print Shop
You don’t have to use your own ink. Send them to be printed at a local print and copy shop. I love printing things at home – and these Valentine Activity sheets are fun for my kids so I print out a bunch of copies at once.
I hope you and your family enjoy this simple activity!
How will you be spending Valentine’s Day?
