Elevate your next Sunday brunch by putting together a quick (but super cute!) waffle bar. From chocolate chips to fresh fruit, let your imagination soar for your topping offerings!
Welcome to our party! My name is Lisa and here at Sugar Agenda, we believe that every day is worth celebrating! Even when I’m not throwing a party, I love looking for ways to make an otherwise normal day extra special.

Recently, I put together a mini waffle bar for my family. We’re from Montreal, Quebec (up in Canada!) and during the winter, I always try to find fun things to do indoors, since our time outside is so limited (it gets WAY too cold around here!).

On a random Sunday, I decided to elevate our usual Sunday brunch by creating the cutest little waffle bar. You can believe that my family was so thrilled when they woke up and found an entire waffle buffet waiting for them!
How to Put Together a Waffle Bar for Sunday Brunch
Putting together your own home-based waffle bar is not difficult at all! You don’t need any fancy equipment (the fanciest you’ll need is a waffle maker, if you decide to go the homemade route).

If you want to start hosting more often, something to keep in handy is a letterboard sign. I love using mine to showcase menus, party themes, etc. This allows me to quickly put together a sign without making a custom one (like I did with my cookie party). I bought mine at the local dollar store!
For this particular waffle bar, I didn’t purchase any additional bowls or serving platters. Instead, I used what I had at home.
Elements for the Perfect Waffle Buffet
- Belgian waffles (store-bought or homemade)
- Fruits (we used blueberries, raspberries, and bananas)
- Chopped walnuts
- Maple syrup
- Nutella
- Condensed milk
- Chocolate chips

What do you think about this cute waffle bar? Is this something your family would enjoy?
