Beep beep! Toddler coming through! And, we’re rolling in with our UPPAbaby Minu review!
I am so grateful to have partnered with UPPAbaby for this stroller review. All opinions are 100% my own. Thanks to UPPAbaby for making our family vacations super-duper adventurous!
I‘ve mentioned it time and time again – Leo has now entered the toddler phase and, I have to say, it’s been my favourite stage thus far.
Full of curiosity and spunk, Leo is bursting with energy and I couldn’t be more proud. However, keeping up with him can be extremely tiring. Most of my mom-friends lost their baby weight soon after giving birth (good dieting, breastfeeding, etc.), but I think I lost mine from running after a two-year-old!
Jokes aside, heading on family adventures has become even more exciting now that Leo has a deeper awareness of what’s going on. However, we also realized that what we needed a good stroller to keep up with him. This is where our UPPAbaby MINU comes into play! This stroller has been essential for all of our trips – whether near or far!
UPPAbaby MINU Review: Our Go-To Stroller for our Adventurous Toddler
UPPAbaby wasn’t lying when they claimed that the MINU allows your family to “go places, big and small.” The MINU impressed us the moment we took it out of the box. It’s been “strolling” along with us on all of our family adventures. Here’s our UPPAbaby Minu Review detailing some of the reasons why we love it so much:
Lightweight and Compact
Weighing in at just under 15 lbs, the MINU is so easy to use! I don’t struggle at all when folding it up, placing it in the car trunk, etc. This is ideal because keeping up with a toddler can be… well, strenuous. I can’t say that I have the greatest upper-body strength, but the MINU is a breeze for me to carry while staying on-pace with a two-year-old.
Quality That Keeps Mama Reassured
When it comes to kids items, I’m constantly doing research to ensure that what I buy is safe and made-up of quality materials.
The UPPAbaby MINU has shock-absorbing, all-wheel suspension, giving it a super smooth ride. The moment we started using our MINU, I noticed how easy it was to push around and most importantly, that Leo felt super comfy in it.
The MINU also boasts an extendable, pop out UPF 50+ sunshade, which is perfect for our summer walks (and all of the vacations we have planned for the summer season!).
The padded seat was also an added bonus for us. As I mentioned, it’s all about little one’s comfort level and this seat definitely passed the test. It has a deep recline, which is ideal for when Leo takes his naps. In addition, it has a 5-point harness, keeping the little guy safe and strapped-in.
Looking So Stylish!
Hey there, good lookin’! And yes, I’m talking to you, MINU! I know that we shouldn’t judge anything based on appearance alone but c’mon – this stroller is no eyesore!
The MINU comes in 3 colors: the Jake (black canopy with black leather handle), the Jordan (grey canopy with black leather handle), and the Ryan (teal with natural/camel leather handle).
It was such a difficult choice when it came down to the final colour for our MINU. We went for the RYAN because I loved the contrast between the teal fabric and the natural leather.
It’s Oh-So Versatile!
How could a compact stroller do so much?! In this UPPAbaby MINU review, I wanted to touch on how versatile it truly is. The MINU grows with your little one so you can go from newborn to toddler. The Birth Kit is an easy-to-attach bassinet that allows newborns to lay completely flat. It creates an optimal resting environment for your little babe! Plus, I’ve always loved the “carriage” look for newborns, so this can definitely grow with our fam.
Why I am so in love with the MINU is due to its super spacious basket. It’s quite accessible and will allow me to fit every day essentials such as a bulky diaper bag, shopping bags, and any other extras. Plus, the back pocket compartment allows me to reach for things more conveniently! So, should we ever be presented with a really cute photo op, I can grab my phone in a second and snap a quick pic!
Perfect for All of Our Trips
If you’re a frequent reader of my blog, you’ll know that our little family loves to travel! And so, when it came to stroller choices, the MINU wasn’t a hard one to make.
I’ve already covered how easy it is to handle the MINU. Lightweight yet, durable, easy to fold (one-handed!) – its overall features make it easy-breezy to bring along with us around the globe. We also have the MINU travel bag to offer protection. I love how there are labels where you can fill in your info, just to be extra safe. What’s also great is that if you register your Travel Bag online, UPPAbaby’s TravelSafe program will cover any damage incurred to your MINU during air travel. Now THAT is something I can get behind!
So, after reading my UPPAbaby MINU review, what are some of your favorite features? Its overall structure? The colour choices? How you’d look oh-so-stylin’ while strolling around the streets with it? Let’s talk about it in the comments below!
Be sure to visit the official UPPAbaby website for more info. You can also give them a follow on social media through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest for more stroller inspo!
I don’t know anything about strollers anymore since all of our babies are grown adults and the grandkids are to old for strollers now. I know they certainly come in handy to have.
Boy, I tell ya, strollers have come a long way since my kids were little! I could have used that travel bag so many times.

This sounds like a great pushchair for little ones. Sounds like it would be comfy for them and easy to use for parent!
Back when my kids were small the strollers really did nothing special. I love how versatile this one is though!
That is one awesome stroller! I wish this was around when I had toddlers! I would have loved to have owned one.

These babies and toddlers are riding good these days. Nothing like when I had little ones.
My sister in law is this and she loves it! She will not go back to any other stroller. They have a new baby coming and she is looking to upgrade the one she has. This would be perfect.
That looks like a great stroller. The stroller I had with my kids was so much bulkier and was pretty heavy. It was difficult to take in the car.
That looks like a cute stroller. I remember not having to buy a stroller when my son was a baby because my parents bought him one as a gift.

I think this is perfect! My sister is expecting, will share this with her.

My friends who have an almost one y/o would love this, so convenient! I’d like to take their kid on a walk in the park with one of these
Once my kids started walking- I got rid the stroller! But something lightweight that collapses easily would totally come in handy with my toddler.
This looks like a great stroller! I could have used this back in the day!
I love how compact it folds up!

I really cannot believe you could fold down that stroller to such a small size. Strollers have really come a long way since that time my kids were babies. I love all the safety features and portability.
It’s funny… when we had to bring a stroller around with us everywhere, it was such a pain. Now, I wish I had that time back. Enjoy it! The grow up so quickly.
